Aspen Ladd is a 30-year-old striker who rose through Invicta FC with a dominant early record built on finishing power, then entered the UFC in 2017 where she scored quick knockout wins over Tonya Evinger (earning Performance of the Night honors) and earned a Fight of the Night bonus against Sijara Eubanks. She was on a clear path toward title contention when a visibly brutal weight cut preceded her devastating 16-second TKO loss to Germaine de Randamie in July 2019, a setback she appealed unsuccessfully.
