Juliana Lima is a Brazilian mixed martial artist and jiu-jitsu specialist who built her early career on a dominant run through regional competition in her home country, compiling a 5-0 record across her first three years as a pro before moving to the international stage. Her path to the UFC came via Invicta FC in 2013, where she suffered her first professional loss. Signed directly by the UFC in late 2013 after almost joining The Ultimate Fighter cast, Lima made her Octagon debut in July 2014 and spent the next four years competing regularly in the strawweight division, facing established names like Joanna Jędrzejczyk, Carla Esparza, and Randa Markos. Her fight style relies on her jiu-jitsu background and clinch control, with her striking distributed across standing exchanges and transitions; she maintains solid takedown defense at 71 percent and has logged wins by submission and decision across her career. After departing the UFC in 2018, Lima returned to Invicta FC in 2019 and later moved to Taura MMA in 2020, continuing to pursue opportunities as a veteran of over a decade in professional competition.
