Ateba Gautier

Ateba Abega Gautier is a 24-year-old Cameroonian middleweight on the UFC's rising-star trajectory. Born in Douala in a violence-ridden neighborhood, Gautier turned to combat sports at 17 as an escape from street life. After initial training in sambo and amateur success (including a 2024 African Sambo Championships silver medal), he transitioned to MMA and earned a UFC contract via Dana White's Contender Series in September 2024.
