Luis Henrique

Luis Henrique is a Brazilian heavyweight and submission specialist who rose through the regional MMA ranks in Brazil before earning a UFC contract in 2015. Starting with a tough-luck loss to Francis Ngannou, he found early footing with submission wins over Dmitry Smolyakov and Christian Colombo, showcasing the grappling skills that would define his career. However, he could not sustain that momentum in the Octagon: losses to Marcin Tybura, Arjan Bhullar, and Ryan Spann, coupled with the UFC's stacked heavyweight division and his own striking limitations, led to his release in late 2018 after just six fights.
