Mark Munoz is a Filipino-American mixed martial artist who built a reputation as one of the sport's most technically proficient grapplers and genuinely likable personalities. Born on a Navy base in Japan to Filipino parents, Munoz moved to California as a young child and became a wrestling virtuoso, winning an NCAA National Championship at Oklahoma State in 2001 before coaching at the collegiate level.
