Nina Ansaroff is a retired UFC flyweight who compiled an 11-7 professional record across eight years of competition in the promotion. A longtime practitioner of taekwondo since childhood who pivoted to MMA in 2008 after a motorcycle accident left her seeking a new fitness focus, Ansaroff brought a striking-based approach to the women's flyweight division. Her UFC tenure saw mixed early results (1-3 in her first four bouts including a loss to Carla Esparza), but she steadied significantly in her prime, posting a 9-4 record over her final 13 fights. Ansaroff fought with a clear emphasis on standing exchanges, landing 86 percent of her significant strikes at distance and accumulating four knockout victories and two submission wins (by armbar and rear-naked choke) across her career. She notched two first-round finishes and competed against notable opponents including Claudia Gadelha and Tatiana Suarez. Her final UFC bout came on August 13, 2022, when she earned a split-decision victory over Cynthia Calvillo at UFC Fight Night before announcing her retirement. Now retired, Ansaroff remains visible in MMA circles as the long-time partner of UFC featherweight champion Amanda Nunes, with whom she trains at American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Florida.
