Stipe Miocic

Stipe Miocic is, by consensus, the greatest heavyweight champion in UFC history. He won the title in 2016 and set the division's record for consecutive title defenses, blending crisp boxing, a strong jab, and championship composure into a reign no heavyweight had matched. His trilogy with Daniel Cormier — in which he avenged an early loss to win two of three — is one of the division's defining rivalries.

After losing the belt to Francis Ngannou, Miocic fought once more in a 2024 title bid against Jon Jones before retiring. Famously humble and a working firefighter and paramedic throughout his career, he is remembered as a quiet, technical great who let his record-setting results do the talking.
